Maria Whittaker found fame as a glamour model known for appearing on the infamous Page 3 spread of The Sun newspaper. She was first featured in the publication in 1985 at the age of 16. Good people, if there was ever a sign that we have come a long way as a society, the simple fact that teenagers won’t be ogled in a mainstream newspaper is surely a small, tiny sign.
Whittaker also graced the cover of several computer games, including “Barbarian: The Ultimate Warrior.” We haven’t heard much of her recently, probably because her marriage to Michael West led to three children!
