How Vile Can Some People Be: The World’s Most Evil and Notorious Serial Killers In History

Patrick Wayne Kearney

Patrick Wayne Kearney is best known as the ‘Trash Bag Killer,’ who was a serial killer between 1975 and 1977. While residing in Culver City, California, he committed his first verified murder in 1968. The killer had a high IQ, but after being apprehended, he admitted to the deaths of 32 gay individuals. Kearney would dump their remains along California freeways wrapped in garbage bags, earning him the nickname.

The assassin was acquitted of 21 murders but sentenced to life imprisonment in July 1977 due to his confession. Apparently, he was also a necrophile who buried his victims in a structured manner and disposed of others in the desert.
