Reassuring His Pet
There was nothing more George could do but approach Crosby and console him carefully. Crouched on his side, he gently stroked Crosby’s fur and murmured, ‘What is it, boy?’ George continued to pet him until the pooch snapped back to his senses and quickly looked at George in the eye – he was trying to tell him something.
George pulled his pet closer out of habit and gave him a little hug. But that moment only lasted for a few seconds as Crosby turned his attention back to the mysterious wall. Indeed, this situation was as baffling as it could be!
